Our lead engineer Reuben Mirabal has a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Missouri Science and Technology as well as a masters degree in Mechanical Engineering with emphasis in Fluids & Thermal Processes from Washington University in St. Louis.  

He has motorsports experience from working in the motorcycle industry.  He has 5 design patents and has designed many motorcycle parts for Midwest Motorcycle Supply and Ultima motors.  Designs include motor and drivetrain components.  During his time working with Midwest Motorcycle Supply he also set up CNC machines for their in-house manufacturing.  This includes 4-axis engine cases, cylinder machining and 5-axis engine head machining.

He has spent 5 years as a manufacturing engineer for Weir Minerals where he designed and implemented fixturing for manufactured parts in the pump and valve industry.  Currently he is a senior design and development engineer.  He has also designed from scratch a Pipe Assembly Machine capable of 1.5 million ft-lbs of torque.  There was nothing on the market at the time to do this job so the machine had to be custom made.  The project was successful  and uses 4 sets of planetary gear clusters to multiply torque.  

Through his jobs, Reuben has had many classes and training.  

His certifications include:

Lean Leadership, Solidworks, OverHead Crane Operator instructor, Superflow Dyno operator.

Interests include custom building firearms, motorsports, pedal-sports, and engineering cool new things!

Reuben started building custom firearms for himself and decided to make a business out of it.  We can build something unique to your budget or something class specific.  Whether it is mil-spec, law enforcement, competition, hunting, or just fun at the range, we got you covered.

One of Reubens early interests was in bicycles (pedal-sports).  He assembled custom bicycles at an earlier age and would someday like to design his own line.

Reuben also likes to modify and upgrade vehicles.  He has experience in diesel trucks, American muscle cars, and motorcycles.  His motorcycle experience spans from working with custom choppers and Harley Davidsons to Japanese sportbikes and dirtbikes which he has owned many.  

Reuben has raced dirtbikes in endurance woods racing as part of the blackjack enduro circuit, has done track days on his sportbike and loves to ride.
